Started this thread to discuss the dragon culture and what I know is true of it, gestures, meanings, manners, food and how we live.
Firstly I am starting with gestures.
*swinging tail side to side* = flirtation
*nudging anothers flank to lay down* = wanna get *busy*
*rubbing head on anothers head* = affection & love
*bowing* = respect
*curling tail around another* = closeness, love, affection, friendship
*baring teeth* = anger, not welcome, tread carefully
*tangling tails together* = sign of extreme closeness, a mate, loved one
*licks* = kissing
*sniffing heels/hindquarters* = interested, wanna get to know better
Now comes Manners
When approaching anothers cavern it's manners to make your presence known do not enter cavern unless invited too. If asked too leave, go.
Dragons are territorial, each dragon has own land and cavern, The Red Dragons have the lower Mountainside, The Whites, they have the upper snow peaks. Reds are smarter than Whites, but Whites are more tougher and stronger.
Decorum:
If having polite conversation in anothers cavern it is considered rude to allow arousal and if one is, must be polite and apologise.
It's basically same manners would have here as humans.
Food:
Well, mostly eat mountain goats, elk, cattle and prefer cooked as raw gives tummy aches and belch up bodies and is generally unpleasent. Sometimes eat people but rarely and only if nothing else.
Living In Caverns
Ussually a large cavern is chosen with adjoining rooms, Large Pillows are for sleeping and sitting, The Treasure is spread accross the room in carefully arranged piles. At the furtherest back of cavern in where natural hot spring of steamy water is used for bathing in, yes, bath, even dragons need to wash their scales and hair horns and such.
